The Rams jumped out early and never looked back, rolling past Kentridge 48-7 on Homecoming night at Highline Memorial Stadium.
Thursday night belonged to Mount Rainier.
Playing under the lights at Highline Memorial Stadium, the Rams came out fast and never let Kentridge get comfortable, cruising to a 48-7 Homecoming victory and improving to 4-1 on the season.
Mount Rainier got touchdown production from Mason Emil and Tray Hogan, but the highlight of the night came from quarterback Isaiah Avelar.
Avelar broke through multiple tackles on a 50-yard touchdown run, then turned on the speed down the left sideline with a couple of key blocks helping spring him to the end zone.
The Rams controlled the night from start to finish and now turn their attention to a major rivalry matchup next week against Kennedy Catholic.
Four wins in five games. A dominant Homecoming performance. And rivalry week up next.
Mount Rainier is building momentum at the right time.
