The Rainier Beach Vikings came out blazing on senior night, jumping on West Seattle early and never letting up in a dominant wire-to-wire victory. With the Bulldogs playing without freshman standout JJ Crawford and opening the night in zone defense, the stage was set — and the noise inside the gym made it clear something special was coming.
From the opening tip, it felt like the beginning of a highlight film starring the #1 prospect in the nation, Tyran Stokes.
Rainier Beach stormed to a 21–8 lead after the first quarter, with Stokes putting on a show on both ends of the floor. The senior poured in 15 of the Vikings’ 21 points in the opening frame while also setting the tone defensively, overwhelming West Seattle with his presence.
The second quarter was more of the same — and then some. The Vikings erupted for 41 points in the period, completely blowing the game open and stretching the lead to 62–18 at halftime.
If you came looking for highlights, you got them. The entire night unfolded like a nonstop mixtape, with Stokes and the rest of the Rainier Beach roster making a strong case that every Viking deserved a spot in the reel. The energy never dipped, the pressure never eased, and the scoreboard kept climbing.
When the final horn sounded, the result said it all.
