The highly anticipated rematch between the Camas Papermakers and the Skyview Storm delivered on every bit of its hype. The top two teams in 4A GSHL play met for the second time this season after Camas escaped with a road win in the first meeting, sealed by late free throws. From the opening tip, the energy inside the gym was electric—and it was clear another classic was in the making.

The game was a thrilling back-and-forth battle right from the jump. Camas and Skyview traded buckets while matching each other’s intensity on the defensive end. After one quarter, the Papermakers held a slim 13–12 advantage.

The second quarter followed the same script. Every score was answered, every stop met with an immediate response. Neither team could gain separation, and the teams went into halftime deadlocked at 26–26.

The copy-and-paste theme continued after the break. Both squads once again poured in 13 points apiece in the third quarter, marking the third straight period in which each team scored exactly 13. Heading into the final quarter, the scoreboard still read 39–39.

With the crowd at full volume, the fourth quarter delivered the drama everyone expected. The teams continued to trade blows early, with inspired performances on both sides keeping the margin razor thin. Camas grabbed a two-point lead with just over three minutes remaining and then Ethan Harris took over.

The Iowa commit drilled back-to-back three-pointers to create separation and swing the momentum firmly in Camas’ favor. The Papermakers closed it out from there, securing a hard-fought 59–52 victory to maintain their spot atop the 4A GSHL standings.

Mason Hamilton led all scorers with 19 points, adding six rebounds and three assists for Camas. Harris followed with an impressive double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds, along with four blocks.

Skyview was paced by Malakai Weimer, who recorded a double-double of his own with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Dez Daniel added 13 points in a strong effort for the Storm.
